ODE TO JOHN FROST
We introduced ourselves His name was john frost We were at home He looked kinda lost
He looked like Tom Bosley And talked that way too But could put down a scotch Pay for one get two?
“I like this place” He said with a smile “Think I’ll have another And stay for awhile”
Who could have known As we look way back then That he would become Such a wonderful friend
He sunburns his forehead He falls off of docks He runs over mailboxes Horses definitely piss on flat rocks
Well I guess he fits in He knows R.B. Morris Can’t sing for shit Except for the chorus
I guess we’ll keep him Ain’t sure why Just seems to be One Hell-of –A guy
We salute you John Frost And we know you’ll be needing A scotch on the rocks For the poetry reading
But if per chance You end up with no drink Just pause for a sec Take time to think
This ain’t rocket science This requires no thought Obviously Ron & Caroline Have been smok’in pot
